Did you know you can now book to see a GP in Tameside at evenings and weekend? There will be additional appointments available 6.30pm-8.00pm weekdays and 9am - 12pm weekends. Appointments must be booked in advance. Please speak to the receptionist to book an appointment or for more information.

Patient Participation Group

We now run a Patient Participation Group at the Practice.

If you have time to give and would be interested in the involvement of improving our Services, then we would like to hear from you.

Other Services and Clinics

We have a number of health professionals visiting the surgery to provide services for our patients:

  • Maternity care including antenatal checks with the community mid-wife
  • Podiatry checks for our diabetic patient

Waiting Room Body Mass Index (BMI) Machine

The practice has a new waiting room BMI machine for the patients to weigh themselves. The aim is for patients to screen themselves opportunistically, and avoid waiting for appointments. Please write your BMI reading down and hand it to the receptionist who will add the data to your records.

Waiting Room Blood Pressure (BP) Machine

The practice has a new waiting room BP machine for the patients to take their own BP. The aim is for patients to screen themselves opportunistically, and avoid waiting for appointments. Once you have taken your BP, hand the ticket to the receptionist who will add the data to your records, and advise you if any further action needs to be taken.
